Glob Hammercy!, original artwork.
Fionna, Cake, B-Mo, Gunter and some magical gumdrops. Decided to do something different with the color palette on this one and I think it worked out for the best. I really, really need to get faster at coloring…but hey, thats my favorite part. And as always, if you’re interested in purchasing this as a 11” x 17” print, you can always do so here.
John Legend feat. Rick Ross | Who Do We Think We Are
This has instantly become one of my favorite songs of the moment.
I know this doesn’t count as a coloring tutorial (I’m still going to do that), but I hope this can show my process (in a very dumbed down fashion) on how I create my artwork. In no way am I a professional, so don’t hold my process as the gospel, but as someone told me when I was just starting out: “Just take parts of what I do and what you’ve seen from other artists and things you’ve learned and apply it to what works best for you. Do what works for you best.”
Actually, I think that could be a life lesson quote too.
Girl on a Vespa, original artwork.
Finally got this done….it definitely took a minute (The original sketch can be seen here). This is definitely one of my favorite ones. It’s nice to do something that’s a change of pace and not based on cartoons or comic fanart every once in a while. And if you want this as a 11” x 17” print, then this link is definitely for you.
Monica feat. Outkast | Gonna Be Fine
How can you argue with 90’s hip hop/r&b and Outkast with Monica?? You can’t.
Mary J. Blige feat. Jadakiss | Sexy
This song remains fire and reminds me of summer. But I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that this is totally based off of Michael Jackson’s Can’t Help It. That probably explains the appeal.
