I have a sort of love/hate relationship with this Jill Scott album, but this track right chea is like every man’s victory song. Man, if you have your lady singing this, you are definitely putting up MVP numbers.

I have nothing against Erykah Badu…at all…but I just think this original version is much better. Plus you have Jill on the track! It doesn’t get much better than this.

I believe that there exists a handful of songs that you can remember exactly what you were doing and where you were when you first heard a particular song. This is one of those for me. Matter of fact, this was the song that put me onto Jill Scott to begin with.
Now if I just could find a good quality instrumental to this song, my life would be complete.

The first time I heard this song, I just fell in love with the beat and how the song flowed…but I wasn’t really paying that much attention to the words and the meaning behind the song. It’s funny, because I can remember the first time I heard this song…what I was doing…where I was…crazy right?
But now when I hear this song, I GET the meaning…and Jill speaks that truth.
