African American Samus Redux sketch, original artwork
Yeah, I know that I JUST drew a pic of Samus, but whatever…I can draw what I want. I don’t really like her Zero suit, because it doesn’t make much physical sense in how she interacts with her power suit, so I took liberties with it. This almost didn’t get redrawn, because photoshop crashed on me and corrupted my original sketch. I think this one came out better anyway…
African American Samus of Nintendo’s Metroid sketch, again…
Decided to do a sketch of Samus…and somewhere down the line ink and color this as well. I’ve drawn Samus a couple of times before already.
And I guess to the fanboys of Metroid who take their Samus mythos waaaay too seriously, I’ve appeased you by drawing her without her helmet on this time.
MegaMan (WIP), original artwork.
I have sooooo many sketches in books and unfinished artwork on my hard drive that I just get bored with and flat out hate. You’d be surprised at how often that happens. And in all honesty, some of the artwork that I post on here, I hate too, but I just force myself through them, cause its good practice, and a learning experience.
And this picture right here…falls into the “I hate it” category. I liked it when I was sketching it…I was ‘okay’ with it when I inked it…and I didn’t like it when I finally saw it on the computer screen. Who knows…maybe I’ll finish this eventually, and it won’t look too bad…maybe.
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, original artwork.
Many people regard the Ocarina of Time as the best Legend of Zelda…but if you took the time to actually play the Wind Waker, man…that game was ahead of its time visually. So here’s Wind Waker Link, his annoying tagalong friend Na’vi, using the hookshot to escape Phantom Ganon.
Dr. Mario, Original artwork.
This is based off of the series Dexter (I haven’t seen it personally, but I like the way their promotional stuff looks). I thought it would be cool, and honestly, disturbing to see Mario all serial killer-ed out. I’m sure he can cure whatever ails you.
Bonus points for recognizing all of the items in the jars in the background.
