Dope Girl Fresh (African American Gum of Jet Set Radio), original artwork. [mechanical #2 pencil, .03/.05 micron pen, sharpie marker, Photoshop CS5] Many people may not know of a little gem called Jet Set Radio (and Jet Set Radio Future), that was made by Sega for the Dreamcast and the original Xbox….and really, they’re missing out.  I thought that game was so original and different at the time that it came out.  Rollerblading street taggers with weird (but catchy as hell) underground Japanese music…I mean, whats not to like?  Here’s my version of the female character called Gum from the game.
